the Cadet 150 celebrations have inspired Leeds Rhinos
and the Army Cadet Force to embark upon a new community
relationship. With special appearances at Cadet Events
from none other than the boss himself 'Ronnie the Rhino'
As with
other sporting organisations the Cadets will provide pre-match entertainment before home

Support
our Soldiers
The Charity ‘Support our Soldiers’ was founded by
Karen Webster, and was set up while her son Nicky served
with the Desert Rats in Iraq in 2003.
The Army
Cadets involvement began a few years ago when the
charities yearly Christmas campaign to send seasonal
parcels to troops overseas the ACF Detachment at Bingley
offered their services to wrap hundreds of parcels to
assist.
In 2007
the ACF desire to help further assist this worthy cause
increased when the Cadets from ‘D’ Company ACF-
Yorkshire (N &W) themselves collected and donated over
150 food parcels packed full of Christmas treats and
adding to the total number of 15,351 parcels shipped
across to war-torn countries for British troops.
