Military knowledge is an important aspect to the
cadet learning, as it not only establishes the
History behind the Army Cadet Force but also gives
cadets and understanding of Rank Structure within
the ACF and Regular Armed Forces.
This
information also helps to understand structure
within Employment as with larger companies made up
of various management levels.
Cadets at basic recruit level are encouraged to
learn rank structure by recognition from badges of
rank.
As they progress within their star levels they move
on to the structure of the ACF at starting with
Detachment structure, Company Structure and County.
At each level the cadets are given tests on the
subject matter in order to achieve higher star
levels.
The military Knowledge lessons carry on to the
structure of the Regular Army ranks and the History
of the Regimental Badges affiliated to various cadet
detachments.
