When and Why did you decide to join cadets?
"I decided to join the Army Cadets as an Adult
Instruct0r In January 2000. I took this decision as I
was not getting any enjoyment out of the Territorial
Army, therefore I decided to come back into the cadets
as an Adult Instructor, I enjoy working with the cadets
and get a great sense of satisfaction in them achieving
something in life."
What have you done in cadets?
"Since becoming an Adult in the Cadets I have
attended the National Training Centre at Frimley Park,
achieved qualifications in First Aid, Range Management,
Weapon Handling as well as qualifying to run Obstacle
Courses, Climbing Walls and many other activities… I
have been on annual camps, attended company weekends as
well a various activities such as bag packs to raise
funds for charity, provided marshals for the race for
life… almost too many things to list."
What has been the most enjoyable part of cadets?
"The most enjoyable part of the cadets is
meeting such a diverse range of individuals, each with
their own personalities and charms"
